    NEED TO BORROW A NANOCOM!!

    Hi all.

    If there is anyone who would be willing to loan me one for a day, I would greatly appreciate it.

    As its new to my stable, I need to plug in the D2 and just give it a bit of a checkover before I start tweaking things so I know where I am starting from.

    Aaaahhhh Haaaaaaa......


    The Nanocom is a diagnostic tool able to fully dialogue and interact with the ECUs installed on all DEFENDER and DISCOVERY II cars with TD5 engine.
    The Nanocom communicates through the OBD port like all the common OBDII based scantools, but the difference between the Nanocom and all the other common scantools is that it doesn't employ the standard protocol but it works with the owner protocols; this gives to the Nanocom a big diagnostic capability, comparable to the LAND ROVER official tools.
    With the Nanocom you can program injectors codes, security codes, test all inputs and outputs, bleed the ABS circuits and many other functions.
    Last but not least the cheap price and the possibility to work without a laptop at all, interacting directly with the interface box, makes the Nanocom a great diagnostic tool.

    Sorry to jump on to this thread - Can I borrow one too?

    Would anyone be willing to loan me a Nanocom to try and rectify the 3 Amigos I am currently suffering on my 2001 TD5 Disco 2?

    I would gladly pay any postage (registered and insurred etc) and also pay any loan or hire fee also.

    I cannot really justify the purchase of a Nanocom but it would save me a trucking to Perth and a 2 day drive home...

    Living in the Pilbara has its advantages and its disadvantages!
    Any assistance would be much appreciated.

    No brake squeal, no ABS, unclipped all sensors and cleaned them.
    To no avail.
    Time for the truck to Perth I think.
