I saw a turbo that TD5 alive sells its a hybrid turbo but aparently works similar to the VNT turbo but with out all the extra mod like how to controll the VNT i think with the VNT you also have to mod the down pipe and everything else. Aparently the TD5 Alive one just bolts on has any one already got one of these??

Sounds like a bizarre thing to happen Did it do any damage to the impeller?

It was pushed back into the No. 1 cylinder manifold then down into the impeller. Amazing not there was a few minor scratches on the turbine but apart from that it is fine its now back on the car after a big clean up as the compressor side was realy soot covered and is now working as good as berfore but spooling earlier i also replace the o ring on the compressor side as the old one was broken

There is no way to make a fixed geometry turbo (wastegated) behave like a varaible vane turbo. Beware of marketing hype.
