    advice on sensors or coils

    Hey can any one tell me if the is a sensor that will cut all spark but allow the motor to crank, I have a feeling it's my coil or amp at this stage but I figure no harm in asking if anyone's had similar issues. Cheers

    There are lots of recent posts on "amplifier" .
    This is a likely contender for your problem.

    Then get out your test light or multi meter and check that there is 12 volts or more between the coil positive terminal, and battery earth (Ignition on!) . No volts, look for ignition wire faults. Have volts, look on.

    If there is no spark at all then it's likely the amplifier, at least one D1 a week kills one on this forum. If the spark is very weak at the coil get another. I have a spare second hand one if you need it. If there's a spark at the coil but not at a plug, then you need a new rotor, or coil lead.

    Well bugger me I just pushed the inertia switch as it fired up, it's wierd , i was coming back from a local watering hole and it was a bit surgy around a 100klms, about a half hour later we pulled , i turned it off after 10 odd minutes wouldnt fire up again , I tried again after i got it of the truck , 1 hour later the same nogo, tried it the next after noon, still no go ,push the inertia switch BINGO, GO FIGURE
    Has anyone bypassed that switch
