    Defender td5 headlight problem

    Hi All,

    My 99 td5 is having a slight moment. When I put on the headlights they work for about 5 minutes then turn off ( this includes instruments and parkers). After a few minutes they start working again and then the process repeats. Can anyone lead me in the right direction as what is gong on??

    Just a rough guess, but it sounds like your headlight switch is overheating.
