Hi, we mounted the second battery alongside the main battery under the passengers seat on a 130 build. Chose a battery which is a little lower than standard and it will be easier.

You may also be interested in a few other mods for your vehicle. Here we cover the second battery installation.

I've got two N70s under the passenger seat of my 95 300 Tdi.
I had to move the air con electric's to the back of the battery compartment.
The batteries sit across the car with the neg. posts under the left hand side of the compartment, almost under the seat rail. A piece of wood in the depression were the battery used to sit to keep it level.
It's fiddley to get it all in but doable.
