All looking good Ben.
What MIG did you pick up?
Those gauges are the older style as opposed to CANBUS. Will be interesting to see how you wire them?
Did they give you a rigging guide? The efi60 is prewired for the CANBUS gauges and you would have to hack the harness to use the older style gauges, I assume the new 70 has the plugs for both now?
Water trap will be fine. I change my external filter every 50 hrs and the onboard filter/water alarm filter every 100. The 60 has nearly a 1litre VST capacity before the injector rail. You will be pretty sick of the water alarm before a litre of water fills the VST and buggers the injectors!
With regards to scuppers, i wouldnt have an open dory without a draining deck. The day you shouldnt be out is the exact reason you NEED to shed water fast. Also the amount of water you bring in diving, means you will never have a dry boat anyway! The best scuppers i have found are the same design used by surf boats. Hot gluein two 50mm tubes about 100mm out the back of the transom level with you floor. Drill a 50mm hole for em first. Now make up a pair of long shoots about 300mm long out of vinyl, sew along the long edges so they are a flat tube. Cable tie one end around the al tube, internal water pressure will force the tube open but minimal water will come in even if the tubes are below water level. Ill flick photoes when i get home next week.
Your use of fixed foam sheets will work well, i look forward to the pictures!
