    What a goose! How many other peoples lives did he put in danger to do that? Not only the 2 crew with him but the countless rescue workers who would have been expected to go pick them out of the water if 1 of the other 999999999 chances happened. Idiots like this make me see red!

    Although i completely agree with your sentiments i can see where they came from. No way was that 5m as the forecast suggested. If the info given by authorities is ridiculous well then you chuck it out and make your best assessment of the situation. Back of the bar is never the best place to judge a crossing.

    Interestingly the skipper had very little to do with that success. The naval architect deserves the credit. Right when the stern lifts, when most hulls twin and mono will broach that cat skews against the forces and drives him forward of the slop and saves the ship.
