Speaking of canoes, we are also looking for either a canoe or sit-in kayak (2 person) as well as a boat.

Want something capable of 3 day (min) touring/fishing trips along the blackwood and avon rivers (2 people plus gear).

We quite like the Australis Bushranger - as it is quite simple/functional, and paddles/turns surprisingly well. And there may be somewhere you can buy ex-hire models cheaply???

But we would be interested in other options/opinions. Before we tried the bushranger we were 100% set on a kayak.

By the term CANOE I was refering to all boats guys.
I would really like something in the 6.5m size, ally plate.I may actually get a smaller dingy in the 4.5 to 5m size just to see if I get the use the bigger investment would need.
