Fishing in Merimbula - Jan 2010

I'll be in Merimbula for a couple of weeks in January.

Any recommendations on a good fishing charter to take there. I'd love to have a look at some game fishing or deep fishing. Looking forward to some fresh fish on the BBQ at night!

I spent 12 months of my life working in Pambula and I was posted in accommodation in Merimbula at the 'fish pen' in 2005 /2006 .
One of the best parts of Australia I've had the privelage to live and work in over the years .
Any of the main wharf charter boats are a great experience and the local visitor information service has all the details you need for bookings .
I also did some extensive 4wd recce trips up into the coastal mountain ranges in the area and found some very interesting tracks .
If you need more information - - Only too pleased to respond

    thx Kev,
i've been to Merimbula a few times but fishing just the once not far out of the heads so keen to search for something bigger and a bit different.
Any tips on some tracks would be good especially those leading to a good swimming spot for the kids would be great.
