Thread: opper for brewing beer-old fashioned way

G'day, my son has been brewing home brew for some time, he now wants to move away from prepared tins and make his own wort[ think thats what it is] He says one of the old fashioned coppers[ like granny boiled her clothes with]would be perfect for this.Could anyone please tell me where to get one?[ulterior motive, he makes a good brew, and looks after his Dad]Cheers, Bob

A mate uses big stainless pots - the kind of thing you would use to cook a load of mud crabs. (he has a pulley system rigged up to lift them).

His beer tastes excellent.

But coppers... - maybe an old copper hot water system boiler? (cut in half with some handles).
