    The trip meter worked a few weeks ago until I zeroed it. Grrr.

    Cool. I got it all sorted and yes it looks the same as yours from the front.

    i actually cut out all the wires and redid the dash on the bench and using a connection block from repco, much nicer and easy for my son to sus out in another 25years time.

    The surprising bit was. firstly I though the wiring diagrams were all a bit suspect but now I think that wires had been bypassed and other wires used for other jobs, IE being swapped over at both ends etc. But I haven’t found a wiring diagram that actually fits the pre85 counties. Like the one the tooth fairy posted I suspect is actually closer to a S3 isuzu than a 110.

    The only bit that I am not sure about or comfortable with is there was an earth running from the back of one of the gages ( there are many earths here) up to one of the screws that hold the plastic back bit of the pod. 4 screws going up into the dash pad. these screws actually go into plastic toggles never touching steel, why or is it a previous mistake?
