at 100kmh it is 2500rpm and that is with my foot flat to the ground, on a flat road.

As already mentioned, clean the strainer and change the fuel filter before you go mucking around with pump settings.

Im pretty sure that it wont be the strainer in this particular instance as the engine maintains the same reported max RPMS in both the loaded and unloaded condtions.

The first sign of strainer problems is usually a loss of power at peak loads in top cog

The differance being I run 4:11 diffs and 30% reduction in low range with 35's makes the differance compared with your set up. Interesting I get 120ishkm/h flat out.

Checked the fuel filter was some what black on the filter its self. look clean inside. Have not checked the small filter yet

Anyone know the outcome to this thread? Sounds like my problem
