You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
Psst, they are Perenties, Penrite's a bloody oil brand
And I've weighed in too now, couldn't help myself
(I've been a member there for a while)
there are 3 primary varients of the perentie that are not road legal. But theres nothing to replace them yet so thats pretty much a moot point.
the others are not road legal but ONLY because they have a switch which you can use to disable the normal vehicle lighting. In all other respect the perentie fleet as you know them are 100% adr compliant for the production time of the vehicle. youd be very hard pressed to find an average RTA inspector who knows about it and would flag the vehicle for it.

Seriously to remove that switch would take an auot sparky about 10 min and 1hr for the paperwork to make it legit!
