Same problems down here in nsw too...usually I need to sit there and explain to the RTA it isn't a landrover "country" there is no god damn "R" in it I tell them !!! In the end my rego every year turns out they write make:landrover , model:unknown....oh 3.9P NO 3.9D oh so it's a v8 3.9? NO it's a 3.9Diesel isuzu!!! Oh ok well they don't exist...

Mine just said "Landrover 110 omnibus" When I laughed and questioned it, they said that they didn't have everything on the computer and getting old cars put on it was hard so they just put it in the closest one. She read me out some others that I could choose from if they were a better match.
I think it is one of those "computer says no" moments :D
Hell, in the ACT there isn't even a category for "coupe" - so my Alpina is registered as a Sedan. :confused:
landrover 110 omnibus--you need a LR lience to drive.
it can be 9 or 10 seat.
Landrover 110 station wagon you dont.but you must remove the rear side seats.
that was all about tax and rego price reduction in the 80's.
a bus was cheeper.
I had people told me they had trouble fitting a isuzu 4BD1 in a 3.9D 110 as the engine numbers are different--like using a nissan RB30 in a VL.
