    Dang Alternator!

    Hey Guys,

I will go to the intro section but to get me started i just need to ask a quick question, I am the loving if frustrated at times owner of a 1985 county with the thumping japanese four pot. I need to replace my alternator as the casting on the body of it has broken. It works fine but due to the bottom bolt hole being broken is now out of alingment.

Where is the best and quickest option around sydney and I have some part numbers of the weathered old id plate but theyre sketchy as.

Does anyone have definite ID numbers??

    Thanks in advance!

Standard alt is 40A, so worth upgrading to a larger one if you are replacing it.
    Info and part numbers here:

The cheapest option would probably just be to weld yours though.
