I have just put my 255/85x16 BFG muds on reversed disco rims, they are just covered by the std flares. The mud is sprayed around liberally though even when I had Std offset wheels. I put the 255's up next to some 35" wrangler muds and found them to be only about 8mm lower in height. And they dont tramline!
