crack pressure and on later models nozzling.

doesnt really matter all that much. you can get the crack pressure adjusted.

I was talking to a engine rebuilder here in townsville and he rebuilds the engines for the Army, anyway we where talking one day about more power and he asked me if I had the pump and injectors of the turbo motor, he explained that the nozzels have a different spray patten and obviousaly the pump delivers more fuel.

All the Isuzu pumps can deliver more fuel than the rest of your driveline will tolerate. The turbo pumps just have an even higher "silly" setting.
Injectors could be worth a swap when the time comes to overhaul your originals.

How much power do you want? 200hp is not difficult (15psi, good intercooler, wind up fuel screw while watching EGT's).

Sorry about the hijack, Dougle I have am waiting for a water to air intercooler to turn up from the US, I hope to gain some power, currently running 14 psi a couple of months ago I was hitting 15 psi and in the morning when it was nice and cool I was hitting 17 psi. So I hope that with the intercooler I will gain a bit of power.

pfft 14-15psi... wind it up the donk will handle 30 psi on standard 4bd1-t bits.
    i'll goto 40...

the standard headgaskets apparently only really start giving trouble at 50+psi.

Ha Blknight, I have a after market turbo set up so not as strong. I still find those figures abit hard to believe. I am thinking of going to 20psi.

There's a video on youtube of Randy's compound turbo 4BD1T pushing way more than that.
Of course the automatic box gave him the finger. The stock head-gasket let go somewhere over 60psi (his gauge only went to 60).
