    County door lining

I know this isn't isuzu specific, but do you blokes know where I should start looking for a new drivers side door trim for an 85 county. I went to British motor imports at mulgrave nsw and they quoted me $450 for an original. surely someone else is pressing them up cheaper.

My current plan is either to swap to defender doors/trims or make new trims from thin mdf and marine carpet.

Someone on here made new door trims out of chequerplate. Seems reasonably straightforward as long as you have lift up door handles.

Also watching with interest, but my plan is to use thin aluminium with vinyl stuck on - reason for using metal not mdf is that it is going to be easier to make the shaped edge at the front.

It wouldn't be that hard to remove the old one & make a template & cover it with Vinyl from Clarke Rubber.
I will be doing that - or Aluminium - with my rear door.

Rear Door is easier - its flat. And will almost certainly be the first one I do.

Well it should be flat, except the PO of my 110 welded bracing to the door which interferes with the trim...
