Mine are just 19mm or 3/4 hose the thermo housing has the 19mm spigots and the steel lines have ends fitted to take the 19mm hose same with the heater box .
The small pieces of hose from the fittings on the thermostat housing to the heater pipes that run over the exhaust manifold - are they just a standard piece of heater hose, or a special hose with different diameter ends?
Reason I'm asking is that the fittings in my thermostat housing are 16mm, but the end fittings on the pipes are about 19mm.
Either I've got the wrong fittings in the housing, or its meant to be a special hose

You should be able to replace the fitting at the water pump end so you have the correct diameter.

Cheers guys. The fittings are new brass ones as the old ones were steel and looking a lot worse for wear.
I've obviously made (another) stuff up and got the wrong diameter. Doh!
Steve
I haven't been able to track down any 3/4" fittings with the correct thread to go into the housing. They only seem to go up to 5/8" - I've tried the normal auto parts places, and also been to Enzed.
Even tried some genuine ones from Isuzu - but they are also only 5/8"
Is there a LR P/N for the fitting?
Failing that, I'm just going to reduce the diameter of the fittings that are brazed on the end of the steel pipes to 5/8".
Steve
pretty sure my hoses were 16mm when I changed them
Yep, just went outside and checked. Definitely 5/8" or 16mm
Thanks - so are mine now
Got sick of trying to source 3/4" fittings for the water pump end, so set about grinding the ends off the pipes to fit some 5/8" ones. Found that the 3/4" thickness is made up of the 1/2" pipe, plus two sleeves of increasing diameter on top of each other.
Remove the outer one and voila - its now 5/8".
Now just waiting for the paint to dry on them so I can fit them.
