Sorry I could correct that and say chirp I suppose it aint really sitting there spinning but still for a constant 4wd diesel to make any noise out of a 33" tire is going good...blknight thanks for that I didn't know about the peizo one :o very interesting.... I hav a little inspection plate with 2 bolts on the timing case directly above the IP gear wether thats got any relevence ?

I don't have a tacho, to tight to spend $400 when a clock fills the hole well and the engine has a governor, if you hit that its time to change:p, but if I was to bother, I'd fit the genuine sender that fits in a plug under the injector pump, search isuzu tacho and more specifically Briam Hjelm's threadQuote:

Was talking to a guy from axt turbo's (they do alot of tuning and modification of turbos and diesel engines) and I told him i am running a gt2052s (td5 turbo) and he said that it is way to small for the isuzu so I asked about the gt2560 I have and he said that is still way to small in the end he said I should be looking at nothing smaller than a gt30 :o I said wouldnt that take ages to spool up? The reply was yes but it will flow enough air for the engine but to stop the lag I can machine up different housings and swap and match turbine wheels etc etc I know dougal loves his turbo's so I was wondering what's his and everyone elses opinion on what I hav been told ? Also could I swap parts out of my gt20 and gt25 to make a better hybrid seeing as though they use the same internals (rebuild kit suits both)?

Isuzu put T25's with 52mm compressors on their 4BD1T and 4BD2T engines from the factory. Your GT2052 also has a 52mm compressor.
In my experience the 52mm compressors are good to around the 150hp mark, you can push them higher but it's at your own risk. 60mm compressors can deliver 200hp.
I would not put a GT30 on these engines. The GT30 is the turbine designation, once he's swapped the turbine and housing for something else it is no longer a GT30 turbo.
