Seems like a good price, may not be real strong though depends on how thick the wall is. I bought mine from mrautomotive they are expensive but really good product.
My 85 Isuzu needs the rear of the 2 steering track rods replaced and while we're at it will probably do both.
Paddocks in the UK have a replacement set of Heavy Duty track rods including track rod ends for $ 99 Aus plus deliv.
1. Is that a good price?
2. Anything special about the Isuzu ones or will any 1985 County Track rod fit?

I think they are solid bar stock
This is them
PM960 Heavy Duty Steering Rods for all Defender inc Ball Joints
Solid isn't necessarily stronger than tube, depending on the material.
I got an Army track rod off Fred a few years ago, $250 including a new H/D retainer that bolts to the diff.
AFAIK there's no difference in the steering components between V8 and Isuzu Countys.

Make sure the front steering drop arm fitting seperates OK & is not totally siezed together. I see the front one from Paddocks is missing that part.
Possibly because it's different on Discoveries.
Also, I would check the Royal Mail website for freight cost, probably the same cost as the track rods.

Ordered now too late
Not expecting freight to be too bad. TNT economy is only $210 AUD for 4 Wolf Rims
