    D1, lt95 4bd1 combo

So does anyone run this combo? Just went to stick the LT95 in the whole of my LSE and the gearstick will come up through the lower dash (softdash)
So if anyone knows of this combo in a d1 (should be the same as the lse softdash), i'm interested to know what they did gearstick wise.

    options are
    - cut dash to bits,(not an option)
    - move gearbox back, which affects heaps, driveshafts need cutting, plumbing for turbo, engine to close to firewall blah blah
    - MSA five speed conversion (affects back pocket)

What if you used something like the 101 gearstick. You could make the linkage as long or short as you like.

I don't have any pics myself but someone on here who has one may be able to get some. They have a cutoff gearstick like a truck gearbox and remote linkage. I'm sure you can fabricate something to make it work - nothing is impossible Damo!

The 101 shifter would work if i had more clearance between the body and the gearbox.

Looks like i'll have to get onto Sheldon about a 5 speed conversion.

And i'll have to sell off all my isuzu/lt95 bits and pieces to fund it

The upgrade cost will hurt, but once you've got an MSA box you're set for a very very long time. The extra gear spread is worth it.
