It's official isuzu is the best

As some of you may know I am selling my county as I now have a 130. Well today I got a roadworthy and the guy was very impressed in how well it went he used to work at a landy dealership and had said that he had driven a 110 with a chevi 6.5lt diesel and said that the isuzu is better. I was pleased as I detuned it for the sale as I removed the get gauge and didn't want the buyer cooking the engine, so it was getting max boost 13 psi. Imagine if he drove it when it was getting 19 psi ha ha.

Cheers Chief, the county went on Thursday and it was a bit weird watching it go down the road. It sounded so good with the straight through 3 inch exhaust. Don't go!

The 130 is a td5, already have a new injector harness coming as it is oily. The plans are to build it up into a tough tourer, I have swapped the axle housings across as they have lockers and hytuff axles. I want to have two draws in the back a pull out kitchen on the passenger side and a storage draw on the other side.

Sounds like you have it all sussed out though....yes the sound would be sad to hear leave so how about power is the td5 eating the isuzu? Have you got any suspension or power mods for the td5 ?

the isuzu is heaps better for power, no comparison at all, I had mine tuned pretty hard though, 19psi boost

I have a mate with a 110 td5 running a tombie chip aftermarket better intercooler and my county would leave it behind from a static start, but he would leave me on the high way as he has a 5 speed.

mods for the 130, are fit my 3inch lift into it, I will run the Terrafirma longtravel mounts, not sure on shocks yet. I am working on modifying the battery box to fit two batteries into it better, and move the ECU into a box under the cuddy box so I can fit another battery and air compressor and fuse panel for accessories.(ECU is under driver seat). It will be a long process I think.

Yep, it was from frozenboost in America. I would use a different radiator next time the cooler bundle was ok though.

If you already have AA I would just stick with that, our not on constant high boost until above 80km so no real need for intercooler at the lower speed. Offroad hardly ever on boost so AA is fine I reckon
