It's really depressing spending so much time getting it "just right" then saying goodbye. I'm stalling on progress, but the better half will twig sooner or later

I would put them back on too. The white ones look good with the blue decals!
I would also keep it as it looks so good. A very good restoration there Dave. A credit to you!

If your selling leave it as is. I find that the decals really date the vehicle and if the prospective buyer wants to can put them on. An unnecessary expense I think the car looks good as is and with an Isuzu the buyers will not care as the engine will sell the car not the decals. Now if it was a V8 then you might need the decals to close the deal as only a nostalgic dinosaur could possibly want 30 year old gas guzzler

I reckon old peeling ones can look pretty ordinary, but new ones make the vehicle look neat. At the very least, probably good to let the buyer know where they can get them from. I had some made up a few years back and I think it cost nearly that much just for the one side.
However, I'd also agree with the others - just keep it, decals or not!

you only need decals on one side - both sides can't be seen at the same time

some people will think you have two diferent LRs

OK, the other side was re-done before I bought it.
Actually, most people I know who aren't into Landys don't seem to be too observant and think my County and SIII are the same truck - even though they are different colours, missing decals etc. Can you figure that out???
So yeah, I suppose what others are saying, if you leave the decals off, most people wouldn't know what model Land Rover it is.

Put them on quick before someone thinks your driving a Puma.

I have no decals and at Blinman when I drove up for the best of breed judging, some Wally in a high vis wanted me to park with the defenders worse next to a puma even
He wouldn’t listen so I just drove off, found the 110s parked nicely opposite the pub.
I mean who cant tell the difference between a 110 and a defender, its not like they look the same or any thing aye??
