    County Decals or don't bother?

I'm getting closer to finishing off my pet project. Part of the refurb was to repaint it, which meant removing the faded decals. The cost of new ones run to around $450 from England, so I wasn't going to bother, but I see someone is reproducing them locally for $195.

Original Style Landrover Country Decals/Stickers (eBay item 260776542435 end time 06-May-11 15:52:59 AEST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats

I guess I'm going to sell this vehicle as the refurb kinda went overboard & I have too many $$ sitting around & not being used.
Another $195 won't impact much. If I was keeping it I would have bought them, would it be worth putting them on as far as resale??

I would not bother! Mine were gone when I got it over fifteen years ago, and I think it looks better without.

I'm opposite to JD, I'm going to replace mine, I like the original factory look.

    Nice resto too, DeeJay

I would fit them, otherwise it looks like you have a big fridge parked in the driveway!

Now I'm 50/50 They do date the vehicle, it would almost pass as a new one to a novice

    No. Leave them off.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

The new owner might, or might not want decals so I probably wouldn't fit them in this situation.
If you do fit some, but don't want to date the vehicle too much, another option would be the later type County decals.

Anyway, anyone that matters will know it's a County

...I'd keep the vehicle, and fit the decals back on...
