    LT85 bellhousing dimensions

Anyone have the weight + length X width X height of the LT85 4BD1 bellhousing or could measure it for me?

    Need to sort out postage/courier!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

that makes the girth over 104cm and too big to go by AustPost! Back to the courier idea then.

Aust post should still take it. If it's not heavy and it'll fit into their mail truck, there shouldn't be a problem.

Out into the cold and wet.

In situ, so not particularly accurate.

    26x50x45.

I've found that if you wrap an item rather than box it Auspost won't measure and charge on volumetric and instead go only on weight.

You might get away with a slightly oversize package this way.

I sent a LT85 bellhousing up to northern NSW via Pioneer bus & I'm sure it was around $35.00 around 18 months ago.
I just sent a chainsaw up to Terrigal via Aus Post & I had to put the 20" bar diagonally across the top of the box to get under dimension, they seem to be cracking down on volume..

    Thanks DeeJay

I know that I tried to get some 6.5X16 rims from Gippsland to Sydney via Busfreight and the cost was more than double what AustPost charged. It has a lot to do with scheduled coach stops. Unfortunately on this occasion, the pick up is out of town and girth size seems outside AustPost limits.

    Warburton Vic to Sydney anyone?

Why not use E-Go. com.au. If you can get the seller to deliver to a depot in Vic and you pick it up in Syd the freight is discounted by 50%. Being a bellhousing it wouldn't even need packing, probably only cost about $25 this way. BTW I hope this is not the bellhousing that was sold on Ebay recently for $285 (I think the winning bid was). It was NOT an Isuzu bellhousing but a V8 to LT85 one.

Or if you ask really nicely I'll frieght it via startrack track express (formerly TNT was my provider) and give you the Bpay details and the cost price and you can fix up my account accordingly, like I;ve done for lots of members, unfortunately for Tony, but that one explains the change in freight provider
