It was NOT an Isuzu bellhousing but a V8 to LT85 one.
    What makes you say that? ? ? ?

    It was listed as "Land rover bell housing suit Isuzu to santana 5 speed" which is pretty specific to me. Land rover bell housing suit Isuzu to santana 5 speed (eBay item 230610132170 end time 26-Apr-11 22:27:24 AEST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats

    If it's not what it was advertised then let me know, so I can start the dispute process and inform the Police!

    You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    Because it doesn't have the circular spigot and the starter is on the opposit side to suit an Isuzu, looks rover V8 to me

    I think I need to sort out Bearman's comment about it being a V8 bellhousing first. there is no way I'm paying over $300 for purchase and shipping of 5Kg ($3) worth of scrap aluminium.

    The Vendor has suggested pickup only - so I would need to get it to you. Peter (Signal1) has offered to pick up, but I'm not happy to ask someone to do more than he's already offered.

    If it's the same one, have a look at the photo. It clearly shows a starter cutout on one side and NO clutch slave cylinder cutout on the other. The Isuzu housing does not have a starter cutout as it is mounted on the flywheel housing. I will post up a photo of each tomorrow so you can clearly see which one is the Isuzu one. I did send the seller a message informing him that what he had pictured was not an Isuzu housing but he more or less told me where to go.
    I had deleted the listing from my computer but after looking at your one, that is the housing. Get your money back if you can, that's a V8 to LT85 housing not an Isuzu one.
    Cheers......Brian

    First I'm Ben, now I'm Tony

    Ben=Isuzurover

    Tony=Rangier rover

    Matt= Rovercare

    Its door to door freight, just needs to be picked from their address

    See my post above

    and here is some more detail on the fact it is likely the wrong bellhousing

    The front should look like this, see the full circle sticky outy spigot just inside the bolt PCD?

    Starter on the opposite side?

    Anyhow, Ta in advance for the apology on the name error

    Woaa stop pick'n on me 'cause I'm stoopid!

    Matt Sorry Sorry Sorry Sorry

    Yes you're absolutely correct it's a V8 housing. Have rung the vendor's phone and spoke to his wife (very nice) hope we can sort it out pleasantly. No point upsetting any more Landy nuts than I have already tonight.

    It was just that I saw Bearman's V8 post while at work and cant view ebay from there, so had to rush home and check so wasn't thinking at all properly (don't even know where I got Tony from????) and Yes I know Ben = Isuzurover. But now knows even much better that Matt is "Rovercare" !
