				If it was my vehicle I be inclined to stop using it until the faulty bearing was replaced, a bearing that collapse can cause much more damage to the box. Any gear box rebuild is not cheap even if you can do it yourself . 
My mate who is a L/R mechanic will not use Japanese bearings in a L/R box especially if it has a Holden engine as they dont tend to handle the extra power as well as Timkim bearings,  We have a Ser3 g/box on the bench that requires big dollars spent on it due to a collapsed jap bearing and incorrect assembly by the last repair

   I would also investigate it asap. Unfortunately for you it means a box out job but better to fix it now with a simple bearing replacement than probably layshaft and gears as well if you continue using it. As Dave said most likely layshaft bearings but you would be mad not to overhaul the lot while it is out. Timken bearings for the layshaft are definitely advisable (LM48548/10) and RHP (MJ 1 1/2) if you can find them for the mainshaft.
