    air cleaner

G'day all, what options do i have for an aircleaner? I bought mine with an after market pod on the motor and doubt it's up to the job. What did they have originally? does a donaldson fit in the originals place, if so what type do you'se recomend? with a snorkle maybe?

Isuzu motor I would use stock air cleaner (mine as a little insert on inside of large filter also) as I was told by a very knowledgable person on here a pod filter is just a pod it doesnt filter! He also done an engine rebuild due to incorrect filters

Away from home atm, but I am almost 100% sure the original is a Donaldson Part number FHG08-0429. Dual filter setup (primary and secondary). Last time I checked Donaldson had them in stock but wouldn't sell to retail. You had to buy through Land rover aust. (at a vastly inflated price).

Dunno about the actual housing but I got the filter element over the counter at the local cummins stockist. I would imagine the housing isn't just fitted to landrovers some dirty great genset or a small dozer probably runs them (maybe a mid 80's isuzu NPR truck as well) just need to work out the fleet care number.

No the housing is LR specific as Brian said, not fitted to anything else

Confirmed by looking at the label. Element numbers are P-90-0433 and P-90-0434 for the safety element (I think the numbers are superseded but any supplier will have a cross reference). Elements are available from multiple suppliers - I think they must fit something else!

I meant the elements! It is possible that there is another housing that could easily be modified though.
