    LT 95 Clutch advice

The 85 Isuzu clutch is close to gone and will be done soon.

I did a search on here but went around in circles. Some questions and advice if I could.

    1. Are the part numbers on here for OE and are they still relevant? Some posts suggest they are Aust army numbers and not still relevant. I was thinking of buying the following for the repair.

    Clutch Plate

HD / Turbo Pressure Plate( As a turbo may be in future plan)

    Thrust bearing

Rod from slave to fork fitting

    New fork fitting

Would some one put part numbers to the above or steer me to where I can find them.

Is it necessary to buy OE gear or are there cheaper , same quality equivalents?

Do you think it good practice / necessary to replace the clutch fork and push rod while the gear box is out?

    G'day Peter,
Here are some numbers that may help you,
    clutch plate .............AYG3616
    turbo pressure plate...8970317592
    Thrust bearing...........AYG3339
dont worry about replacing the pushrod or fork unless they are badly worn but this is unlikely, but I would replace the:-
    pushrod clip...............R576723
    staple.(fork to bearing).R576203
    seat.(fork pivot)..........R571161
Also check the fork pivot post is tight in the bellhousing, if not modify or loctite it.
On the odd chance you have to replace the fork and pushrod, the numbers are:-
    fork............................R576137
pushrod.......................AYG3316 (getting hard to buy new these days)
Most of these can be obtained aftermarket through places like All4X4, BMI etc. But most won't be cheap. It would also be a good idea to replace the spigot bush (R549911) in the crank extension.
    Cheers......Brian
