I really like my 255/85r16 Bighorns. Bit slow up the hills being n/a but acceleration is quick enough to outpace 200tdis! I also run 7.50r16 michelin road treads at times, can hardly notice a difference on road.
G,day all iam just asking what is a better tyre size then the 750 X 16 on my Isuzu 110 i dont want to go 15" or heaps wide but a larger diamiter tyre size would be great, would help with crusing at 100 kph.

+1 on 255/85.

x3 on the 255/85s. Your speedo will read accurately, and if you add a turbo you won't notice the slight diameter increase (except for the increased clearance over the salisbury diff).
......but 255's are an uncommon size when out bush, try 265/75 MTR's, mine are great.
255/85/16 is a very popular choice for Defenders / Countys. They're a good 'all round' size, not too big and not too small. It's quite common to fit them to offset Disco 1 steel wheels.
