i have been advised by people who i shal not mention to start a thread on isuzu's since i am posting to much on other threads this thread can be on anything about/related to isuzu's in any vehicle,shape or form and also include any photos,diagrams or videos of diesel related things

OK - let me start.

I've got an Isuzu, and I read the Isuzu threads. Like most of AULRO, generally the threads stay pretty much on on the original poster's topic so its all related information and therefore easy to read and search.
If a specific thread on gearboxes changes mid-thread into a discussion on dual battery controllers I find it frustrating (theoretical example only).

There have been a number of times where you have hijacked threads (taken somebody else's thread for your own purpose in case you didn't know the meaning ). This is considered rude in all forums and in most you will get a much more blunt response than Rovercare gave you.
As I see it Rovercare's comment was not about the amount you are posting, its about hijacking.

Some examples of recent Isuzu threads and your hijacks:
MSA gearbox to LT230 ==> your question about needing a replacement gearbox, and that you were after pros/cons of a MYY-5T and transfer. Apart from a reference to considering Grubb's kit its completely unrelated to the original thread.

Bottom end rebuild ==> your question about ceramic coating pistons and rod balancing for more HP.

I could look for more examples but hopefully you get the point: If you have an unrelated/new question then its good etiquette to start your own thread rather that hijack someone else's.

Rovecare isn't the only one that has suggested you start your own thread. I just did it in a more subtle way:

I'm not trying to have a go at you, but by starting this thread it looks like you haven't understood what Rovercare was saying.

i understand but i was only having a stab back at rovercare for some fun no hard feelings at all....
well if you put it that way yes i do get sidetracked in certain threads but usually its when the thread starts to die i will ask a few more questions which usually need to be answered by bush65,dougal,rovercare,isuzurover or rangier rover...

i believed it would be more annoying starting new threads all the time to ask about certain things such as
*gearboxes (so hence ask the question in grubbs gearbox conversion thread)
*bottom end rebuild thread i posted my ideas to help out i also got corrected by bush65 due to his much further in depth knowledge of pretty much everything... and the ceramic coating of pistons was mentioned by not only me.

in future i shal start new threads for any interesting topics that i find i need to ask

i wonder if those certain people could start threads by the thread just being there name and people can just ask them random questions in those threads eg: someones wants to know about turbos so they click on a thread called either "bush65" or "dougal" because they are usually the people that everyone waits for there input...just an idea

sorry if it has annoyed everyone so much learning needs to be done not enough time to do it

IMO - those of us with lesser knowledge need to be very careful about expecting the guru's to answer our every question. We are privileged that they share their knowledge so freely and its their choice when/where/if they do it.

Definitely there have been times when I've posted a question thinking "I'm sure <particular person> will know the exact answer to this - I hope they respond". Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't - but at then end of the day it isn't a one-on-one Q&A session and almost always the answer/info I was seeking comes to light.

Anyway - enough crapping on from me, back to the the shed for more LR stuff - which is ultimately why we're all here

steve thats why i never just ask particular people question because everyone has some good ideas hence why i post in threads so that everyone can help also like you i await answers from the guru's...anyhow same as you said enough of this theres other LR things to do

Does anyone know if a County front caliper setup will fit on the defender rear caliper mount, using a Defender disc? There are those extra bolt holes in the Defendr mount....!
