    Opinion on 120" please

Learned Isuzuphiles, I'm looking at a 120 on carsales and have a couple of questions. From the description it says that the vehicle is a 1986 5 speed Isuzu but I'm wondering if the fuel filler is correct for this year and what year the defender style doors were fitted?

    Regards,

orig fuel filler would have been under the tray behind rear wheel on dr side, can't make it out from the pix

series type fuel filler has been fitted

rear guard looks a little knocked around - so have a good look underneath for damage

Looks like it has an aux tank under the drivers floor. I would say that filler is for it.

actually, I wish mine had the pre-87 doors anyway - a superior and less trouble free system IMHO

another note to Tote while I'm at it - be aware of the potential difficulties, shortcomings and rattles from the LT85 5 speed box - and have a good listen to it

I actually like the 5 speeds but you do need to be sensible and not overload the 5th gear with Isuzu pulses - and if it has been previously abused it can co$t

    Hi All

I'm pretty sure that mine is an 86 with the later doors, had cracked the chassis in the bend in front of the rear diff and the rear crossmember too
