Electrical dougs, i was too wooried i'd somehow puncture the line and spray oil everywhere to go me hanical! Hopefully dud or wrong sender unit. I woulda thought the guy i bought my gauges off wouldhave given my the correct one though...

It's a good thing to not have oil pressure lines entering the cab permanently. But it could be well worth the peace of mind to install a mechanical gauge temporarily to confirm or deny the reading.

I disagree about the lines in the cab. There's no greater incentive to stop the engine than hot oil spraying over your feet and legs thus saving the engine.
