How to ident an LT95 TRB transfer case?

    Hi all,

Just bought a Stage1 Isuzu with LT95 and was wondering if there is any external way to identify if the transfer case has the TRB mod?

    Thx and Cheers,
    Daryl.

On the very back of the box you can see the end of the intermediate shaft.
A TRB assembly will have a bolt through the middle which is used to torque up the bearings. You should see the head of the bolt.
There's a couple of different setups so the end of the shaft might not look exactly the same as this one, but I think they all have the bolt through the middle.

    Cheers, Murray

So the shaft end lives under the speedo cable keeper plate.

    Thanks Murray.

    Cheers.
