Go ahead type however you want. We will then be free to interpret however we want.
If you make more effort to communicate clearly, there is a far better chance people will care about any comments you make.
Go ahead, show me or leave this thread and never return.
I have never said "it won't work" or any words to that effect. I have said words to the effect of "it will be poo". I think you'll struggle to beat stock 300tdi figures. Except for fuel consumption, which you will surpass easy. That's "fuel consumption", not to be confused with "fuel economy".
"Not working" and "working but being poo" are very different things. This harks back to the communication above. Write clearly, read clearly and stuff may start to make sense.
You are cluttering up my thread with inane bollocks and telling me to get a life?

Have a nice day BIG D
Still want you to answer the questions put to you, Or does mean you don't like answering those.
Just let me know where and when I said that it would be a fire breathing fuel friendly 500nm monster!
Here's a pretty picture of my LT230 CAD model.
This was a complete bastard to measure. The complete lack of straight/square faces meant everything had to be triangulated off something else to get it's true location.
In the end I think I've got all critical surfaces within about 1mm.
I've gone to all this trouble for 2 reasons. One is I'll have to redo my shifter linkage completely for the future body swap (93 is short-stick, 85 is long-stick). The second is to see if I can make this fit with a MXA-6R.
The critical part is that inside cover plate. It comes out square ~98mm from the input shaft centre-line.
Currently it has M8 bolts with washers which add another 10mm, but they can be replaced with countersunk FHCS to gain clearance if that will help.
This is what the model looked like up to a few weeks ago:

That is not going to happen. I have said this several times.
I can't get an accurate measurement just now, but went out a few minutes ago and from a quick check it looks like you will need approximately 115mm, not 98mm to clear the extension on the rear of an MXA-6R.
I know when I physically offered up an empty LT230 case, with just the front extension housing, the centre of the input housing was well off the centre of the output from the MXA-6R, with the LT230 extension housing against the MXA-6R. How much off was academic as there was no prospect of modifying the LT230 to suit, so I didn't take measurements. I can't recall if it was 17mm, plus, or minus, but it was certainly not far from that.
Thanks for the measurements.
I know it's not looking good, but I do intend to beat my head against this wall a little longer. Everytime I drive my 6sp tdi car I'm reminded how much better 6sp is than 5. It truely does have a gear for every occasion.
I do have a plan B. Seeing if enough length is available to move the LT230 rearward for the bulge in the MXA to miss the snout. At present the back of my MSA gear case is 37mm forward of the LT230 snout and it appears the widest part isn't far from here.
My MSA box:
Your MXA box:
Would you be able to measure the length of your MXA for me? From bellhousing lip to the front face of your adapter plate? Also the length of the extension housing to the same adapter plate face.
