disregard misread question (265mm is length of front shaft into gearbox).
Front prop shaft length is 650mm compressed.
Is the front drive shaft the same length for both the 110's and the RRC's fitted with an LT95?
I need the correct length front shaft since I swaped in the LT95 and just want to confirm if they are the same.

In my experience it is the same length for all up to the puma which is longer.
Cool. I'll have to chase down the correct one. I've got an LT85 one in there at the moment and It's a little short.

No, the LT85 shaft is shorter by around 50mm. I'll measure mine tonight hopefully. I've been meaning to measure it since Saturday.
Edit: Just went to the shed and the one from my LT85 is 630mm, but looks like it may compress further. The one I put in was ~10mm shorter...
as a note, i beleve YT110 swaped his LT85 Fdrive shaft for a TD5 defender unit
Front propshaft length should be all the all the same, LT95, LT77,LT85 ,R380. The only different shaft length was with the borg warner t/case. Or if you have later short pinion rover diff. I have a torquflite front shaft to clear the oil filter, and used a std large uni rangie shaft when I stuffed a uni. Both fitted length wise.
I have compared front shafts fron disco with R380 and classic Rangie LT95 shafts same collapsed and extended lengths.
