    Injector Pump

    Gday,

I have recently done a turbo on my 4be1 county. Adjusting the fuel is the next step and setting the egt's to a suitable temp.

I dont have much knowledge of injector pumps and i have been reading that the 4be1 is either a VE rotary pump or a Kiki P7100 type. Is the 4bd1 a different type of pump all together?

According top isuzu catalog this is the schematic for a 4be1 injector pump. I think that the fuel screw is item 118, am I horribly wrong?

That diagram is for an 'A' series pump (similar to 4BD1). The 'P' series pumps are completely different animals and much larger physically (most likely too large to fit any Isuzu 'B' series.

That diagram is for the pump only. The full load fuel screw is part of the governor - no governor in that diagram. The screw is on the side of the governor and is a stop for cam that is readily identified. The screw may be covered by a sleeve to stop tampering.
