Don't do it, it couldn't possibly work
Can't wait to see the results mate, I wonder if I've got enough room?

Hey guys & girls
For some unknown reason I took off my little Garrett turbo (TD5 ) and put my non wastegated Switzer back on to improve the motorway driving. Well after loosing my fantastic low end boost, the old light bulb turned on above my head and without any fancy calculations or scientific proof I am going to build a compound set up with both. Dont ask why but a quick pre fit confirmed I have the room. So next week it should be piped up and running. Judging how both perform I reckon it will work. As they say "Profesionals built the Titanic" and " Amateurs built the Ark" !!!!!!!!!
Dont ask why, but why not. work is a bit quiet so for a minimal cost of a bit of silicone tube and some fancy homemade adaptors we will see how it goes.

						Do it.
But make sure you leave room to replace the Schwitzer with a bigger one later on.
Thanks for the positive response. I will make sure I take a few photos along the way. Should be able to get into it after the weekends trip.
I must try and get the details off the schwitzer to try and determine exactly what it is as it was remanufactured by Turbo Dynamics about 10 years ago.

cant wait to see the outcome
im asuming the schwitzer is off a toyota of some description? x2 what dougal said because as from what i have seen most of the common schwitzer turbochargers have a large exhaust A/R but not a very appropriate cold side....however i am not saying that applys to all the schwitzer range....
will be interesing to see the adaptor orientation as i also looked and i do have enough room to build a compound but ill see how i go spinning my single turbo before needing some aid
the interesting part will be the flange to suit the gt2052 being triangular...if you need help (im sure your very compitent) i do have a t3-gt2052 style flange adaptor you can copy..
The Schwitzer was on the motor when I aquired it back in 2000. Its a Kit from Denco Diesel in Wagga so who knows what its off if anything, but the cold side is on the large side as well. Thanks for the offer but making adaptors etc is no problem. The path I am taking will see the GT2052 adapted to the Schwitzer, which has a nice round 4 bolt outlet. who knows what will happen.

I'm interested to see how it goes... Any pics of the 2 turbos ?
