I'm in the process of sourcing parts needed for my Isuzu swap while I'm waiting for the Defender to arrive. In particular I'm trying to get my hands on a turbo manifold, and a truck sump for the engine. Have tried phoning round the places suggested to me today, but have had no luck so far. So if anyone in the Melbourne area can suggest a truck wreckers or parts suppliers, I'd appreciate it.

As above. Isuzu is often the cheapest - and definitely is for the manifold. I posted a pic with the manifold part number and the price I paid in my turbo install thread.

The wingless sump can be hard to find. I am still running the winged sump.
So no luck even even sourcing new parts Mike? Did you give the actual part numbers for manifold and sump to parts places (not wreckers)?
I think Patterson Cheney Isuzu are the main big supplier, but I've never dealt with them - only my local place and Japanese Truck Care near my work.
From memory my manifold came from the Isuzu dealer in Geelong (Winter and Taylor) but they had to order it in from Isuzu in Melbourne.

Yeah, we did a ring around to the various truck wreckers to see if we could pick up something secondhand first, next port of call will be the Isuzu parts suppliers. Don't mind so much forking out for a new manifold - the sump is proving a little more difficult to source though. Can always do a cut n' shut on the winged sump though if needs be. Called Timms re. the actuator, so they'll sort something out for me there. Just aiming towards having everything ready to go on the workbench when the Defender gets here, more than anything else, and figured it wouldn't hurt to ask the question here of those who have done the legwork before.
If by "actuator" you mean the fuel shut off, you can use the EDIC motor out of a Mazda T3500 light truck. You'll need a changeover relay too but these are common. There is a detailed wiring diagram posted by Steve G in a recent thread that should be easy to find with a quick search.

I have most of the parts mike needs on my rangie project, which isn't going anywhere fast, he can use what he wants, as long as we can find the parts to replace mine (excluding the bits I actually give him that I don't need)
Problem is, he just won't except them, bloody Irish weirdo
So if anyone knows where to point us to find bits that would be great. Turbo manifold he'll get new, but air cleaner, we hope some has a spare. Sump we'll (steveG) cut and shut if need be.
