Not so budget turbo install

Think my elbow/reducer is 4mm and is pretty rigid. Putting my hand over the air filter inlet will make it suck in a bit, but it doesn't collapse completely. Something would have to be very wrong to get that sort of blockage in service.

BTW - if you can figure out the P/N's for those manifold studs would be very useful. Trying to track down the numbers got too hard for me and I just fitted allen head bolts.

Edit: I also used decent T-clamps, even pre-turbo. Figured a couple of extra dollars compared to normal hose clamps was a lot cheaper than a dusted engine. Post turbo I didn't even consider normal hose clamps.

Sounds like a winner then. The limitation will still be space, as the EFR is so damn long I don't have a lot to work with.

Yes.. nothing yet. The other issue is that the manifold seems to fit M10 sized bolts but the head is much smaller. If I can't ge the right ones I might have to get some sleeves or something...

My local Isuzu place are great, but it is very much "part numbers or too hard".

I need one of these, except it needs to reduce from 3" to 2.5". Hopefully they are available

That is usual...

Not a real smooth shape...I'd be more worried about the pressure side rather than vacume side (within reason) as blowing a intercooler line is a real downer :angel:

Slow down tiger.
The manifold holes are oversize at the ends to allow for expansion/contraction of the manifiold (when it gets to 750C etc). Putting sleeves in the expansion gaps would be a bit of a concern.
The centre holes are closer to size for location, the end holes are much bigger.
