Looks quite different to mine. Bolt pattern totally different.
Also the photo is small on my photo - is that a viscous fan?
Today started out great but has turned out sour. I am toward the end of a rebuild of my 110. It has been off the road for ~ 4yrs and today I cranked it over for the first time and the Suzi fired right up. A minute or so later an excellent day turned rotten, when one of the fan blades broke off. I have a 17" 8 blade fan, (I think it is 8-94478985-0) which is NLA in the US.The bolts holes are 4.25" on a square pattern and the internal hole for the clutch is 5.375". Is this the same fan used on AUS spec 4bd1t's? Is there another replacement fan other than going electric?

Yep, that's a viscous fan setup off a truck, shouldn't be too hard to find another one at the wreckers. The aussie factory ones have a 6 blade non viscous fan. Coming along nice there, bet you can't wait to get it out for a run.![]()

Is it worth upgrading to the viscous fan setup?
Personal decision, I have one on mine only because it was fitted from new on the motor. Doesn't seem to make any difference compared to the ordinary fixed fan. They don't run hot no matter what you do to them.![]()

Wohoo! I found a fan, on Eblag no less. Thanks guys. I can't wait to get it back on the road. I have a 1100 mile trip in about 3 weeks an d need to do a shake down run prior.
Do you find the viscous fan quieter?
I found with the fan directly attached during water crossings it sucks a bit of power. Wonder if this would help.
Don't know if this was addressed to me or to Brian...but the viscous fan is not particularly loud as compared to the rest of the engine. In my climate and driving conditions, it rarely locks up.
