My experience is always pretty close to11l/100km. Can do a bit better, about 10, if I keep the speed below about 80 and add 10psi to the tyres, or worse if I drive above 110. But other than that, seems almost independent of conditions or load, even a box trailer,, although I have not done enough sand driving to get any figures for that.

, saw 18 towing into big headwinds....650,000km old injectors and pistons etc will no doubt not be helping. recently replaced injectors and economy and smoothness/ smoking is way better. still blowing by a lot though
, average 8.6km/l. Checked speedo with 3 different gps.
