Stage 1 Sound proofing
Hi all
I recently acquired a stage 1, 3.9 diesel hard top. I have posted a couple of post regarding info on some items, but would like some insight into the sound proofing that is installed. The bonnet has had sound proofing fitted that is no longer there other than the left over contact glue.
The inertia guards still have sound proofing with silver foil over it and 90% in tact.
Within the cab is a 15-20 mm layer of yellow foam that looks professionally installed all over the floor, transmission tunnel and fire wall with black vinyl laid over it.
It is so well done that it does not look like the floor panels have ever come out.
Is this a "factory/dealer" install or aftermarket install.
Is there any "sticky" things for stage ones as I am continually searching the site for info on these vehicles.
Ta
Andrew

All sounds very custom and post factory to me! There are plenty of sound proofing threads about if you use the left hand side search field at the bottom of the page.
To be honest, I'm not sure where Stage1's fit on here. Were they ALL Isuzu engines? Here seems as good as anywhere! (I stand to be corrected)

Seems to be around the same ratio the V8 to Isuzu for 110s
I've certainly seen more V8s than isuzu stage1s
