Garry I can't quite see it very well in the picture, whats the diameter of it and I can measure it up against mine. (2260)
I have this dump pipe that is mated to a Garrett 2256 vnt turbo wondering if it could be swapped for a larger turbo say a 2260 vnt model without changing the flange fitting. heres an image of it.

Its has taken a sizable amount of effort to make but my tig skills are far improved these days. Are there any other model turbochargers that could fit the 2256 flange?
Cheers Garry

The gt2260v should use the same od turbine, but bigger vanes at exit. You could get your existing housing bored out to fit so the gt2260v cartridge bolts in. That would keep your existing manifold setup and dump pipe.
That would be good if thats the case but I will sell it in the end, was hoping to ebay it if I could not find a more suitable turbo for an isuzu motor and advertise it on the for sale section. I was hoping there was a better suited turbocharger that could be mated to it,. It's 2.5mm stainless steam pipe with a 3 1/4' ID, would be good for someone wanting to move lots of exhaust gas and it fits down the side of the motor very neatly. I do not want to muck around with dawes valves etc., just wanted a simpler setup with around 13 psi only.
Dawes valve bit is quite easy. Or you can just wire the vanes shut and fuel up as required.
UM food for thought then. Thank you guys for your advice very much appreciated.
