Sheldon no longer does that conversion, you may have missed the boat.

As for your lt230, last lt85/230 combo i got my hands on had a 1.192 transfercase.

What was it like? did the 1..192 feel like a petty short ratio? I can't seem to fined what ratio mine is. Can you fined out looking at the serial number? Screenshot_2020-08-15-17-50-10.jpg

I'm pretty shore mine is 1.222... dos higher number equate to lower ratio? Excuse me if that's an ignorant question

Something like this? Isuzu (MYY5T) gearbox to LT230. I don't know how the length of my adapter compares to the std gearbox/transfer combo length? Mine is going in to a Series Forward Control so I am unencumbered by floor pan or bulkhead. Not fitted yet. Still rebuilding the 4JH1 motor to go in front of it.

That is a 1.211 box, newer style fine gear.

edit: Yes, 1.222. I thought the suffix was G, but it is C. Not original. Those were 29D = 1.192

Is the 1.192 higher ratio then 1.222?
