Hand primer pump options & rubber-coated washers...

Am due to change the spin-on fuel filter on the Perentie again, and I resolved after last filter change I'd replace the hand primer pump as whilst it worked it spat diesel everywhere in the process. I'm happy to rebuild the existing Zexel one once it's off, but would like to be able to fit a replacement straightaway.
Options seem to be either a genuine part Isuzu (Part No. SKU 8941311300) which I'm guessing will be the Zexel type, or one of the Bosch type (Part No. 2447 010 038/2447 222 126) which seem to be widely available on Ebay.
Re. the Bosch type, I can't seem to find any cross-reference to being suitable for fitment to the 4BD1. Has anyone bought and fitted this type? Any issues?

As part of the filter change I'll also pull out the "secret" feed pump strainer again Has anyone ever sourced or had to replace the rubber-coated washers that seal the feed pump strainer? From memory there is also a pair of rubber-coated washers sealing the fuel pipe connection on the top of the fuel filter housing. I always try to have replacement washers/gaskets etc. on hand whenever I'm replacing a component just in case I stuff up said washers/gaskets getting the component off/out, but rubber-coated washers seem to be as rare as hens teeth...

    Cheers, Dave

They are not that rare Dave. Any hydraulic or fuel pump repair shop has those washers.

    Thanks for your help everyone.
Replacement Bosch primer pump ordered on eBay today.
Managed to track down some spare banjo washers at a Newcastle diesel service firm; copper though rather than the rubber-coated (Dowty) washers. Was assured they'll be fit for purpose. Will keep my eyes out for the Dowty washers in the future; from what I can gather they are for higher pressure applications, and can be re-used - presumably as they don't deform to effect a seal.

    Cheers, Dave
