Help identifying this tapping noise 4bd1-t

Can anyone give me a pointer of where to start looking for the source of this tapping noise? Developed whilst over at straddle on the weekend.
Feels down on power, doesn't appear to be using oil or water and there is no cross contamination.

Any help is appreciated, I have only just got the car on the road!

Very hard to identify from that clip.
Could even be an exhaust manifold leak. See if you can pinpoint where it is coming from with the bonnet open.

Thanks for that, it definitely sounded like it was coming from the passenger side of the engine bay so exhaust manifold gasket could be it.

    Gasket was my first thought.

IIRC you built this vehicle up recently - did you put a new exhaust manifold gasket on? Got any pics of your exhaust manifold? Maybe you did the same as me..... The exhaust gasket has the word "TOP" written on it, which apparently goes to the bottom. As a result I had mine on upside down. Still fitted OK, but with a slight leak.

I did build it up but I didn't touch the exhaust manifold. Just had a look through and in the 500 or so pictures I have of the build I don't have any on the exhaust manifold!
Good to know about the 'top' going on the bottom though, seems logical :s

Harry remembers you took something off around the exhaust manifold that you drilled for temperature sensor. He can't remember exactly what
