I have run a dial indicator up on mine, my msa output shaft was out by .016mm, this was the same measurement I got on my flanges, so flanges are as straight as can be.

Pics of the two mating flanges one has had a sex change and mouse holes for12mm bolts and 17mm nuts Of the three separate ones I have done and bolted up all have been acceptable without further machining
Wots a dial gauge? I use a wooden rule but only when I am being fussy

A wooden rule, I didn't realise you were so obsessive?

I use a linen tape measure from the sewing machine!

But this is my dial indicator: (good), (O.K.), (not so good), (poor), (very poor) all assessed with my precision Mk1 eyeball (with glasses of course)

Now that I've seen the index ring and the flange on your shaft, I may be tempted to change my mind!

Are you doing more and if so could I order a set?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Spoke to Barry from hytuff, he said he can make adapter shafts basically the same as noel has, but suggested from en26, he just needs me to send some stuff up to him.
Approx cost is $300 a shaft. I am getting 3.
    Anyone else interested?

    I'd go 2.

Will he be making the adapter flange and indexing the prop shaft flange as well?

As I understand it, there is no guarantee from Hi Tough to make the shafts, only an offer to investigate making the shafts.

What is the use of a shaft without a mating flange?

It's almost as bad as being back at step 1.

I was quoted $318 for a new Isuzu MXA flange My machining cost to fit to the MSA .
Machine as female to fit the male msa mill four mouse holes to accept 17mm nuts, bolt together and check alignment $100 to give you an idea
I don't know the current price of flange as that was sometime ago if they can do shafts for $300 they should be able to machine flanges for around $30

Guessing you have spoken with Barry then.
I did send him a very rough drawing, which I will am end now that I have discussed it with him.
Not sure what you mean by 'without a mating flange'?

Not back at stage 1, if he can't do it I will get someone else too. I only went with him because of his work with land stuff, gee if noel can make them, then pretty sure any axle manufacturer can. No offense noel
