    Should be just run in at those K's, I would do a compression test before you touch anything. Look for around 440psi and oil 70-80psi cold and about 60 running temp at 2000rpm.

    Yeah but will have to do all that on the shed floor, easier just to stick it on the stand and drop the sump. Will run it by my neighbour, he is a diesel mech.

    The big end/main shells should still be like new with those k's Damien, I have seen one with over 500k's with as new shells and good oil pressure. Even the chromhard liners don't seem to wear but the rings eventually do.
